WE are almost ready here for Noosa Open Studios!
Come along and have fun playing with all the tesserae* to create a colourful garden planter pot. While you are here view the large range of mosaic made in my studio.
* tesserae noun, plural tes·ser·ae [tes-uh-ree] . 1. one of the small pieces used in mosaic work. 2. a small square of bone, wood, or the like, used in ancient times as a token, tally, ticket, etc.
Take part in making a collaborative project – a planter pot – that will be raffled off at the end of Noosa Open Studios. The proceeds will support Breast Cancer research.
While you learn a little about mosaic talk with Sue about what you’d like to make in a future class or workshop, and check out the exhibition.
Friday 16th – Saturday 17th – Sun 18th August
Friday 23rd - Saturday 24th – Sun 25th August
Participation in the collaborative project is free.
